Общая информация

Российско-норвежская школа (далее — Школа) – пример успешного многолетнего международного сотрудничества в области образования и культуры.

Школа начала работать в МБОУ г. Мурманска «Гимназия № 1» с 1 сентября 2008 года. В настоящее время Школа действует на основании «Соглашения о совместной деятельности по реализации проекта «Российско-норвежская школа в г. Мурманске», заключенного Министерством образования и науки Мурманской области, Управлением образования и здравоохранения губернии Тромс (Норвегия) и Комитетом по образованию администрации г. Мурманска.

 Целью работы Школы является предоставление молодёжи в возрасте от 17 лет до 21 года из Мурманской области (Российская Федерация) и всего Королевства Норвегия возможности приобрести знания в области русского и норвежского языков, культуры, истории, предметов естественно-научного и экономического цикла, позволяющие использовать образование и опыт для развития Мурманской области (Российская Федерация) и губерний Королевства Норвегия.

Ежегодно в Школу поступают 10 российских и 10 норвежских учащихся, которые зачисляются в школу старшей ступени Конгсбаккен губернии Тромс и Финнмарк, но обучение проходят на базе «Гимназии № 1» г. Мурманска.  Приём на обучение в Школу российских и норвежских учащихся осуществляется по результатам конкурсного отбора кандидатов. Российские абитуриенты на момент зачисления (1 июля текущего календарного года) должны иметь аттестат о среднем общем образовании.

По окончании Школы при условии успешной сдачи выпускных экзаменов учащимся выдаётся документ норвежской школы старшей ступени об образовании с указанием учебных предметов и количества учебных часов. В случае, если учащийся не прошёл итоговую аттестацию, ему выдаётся документ об обучении в Школе.

Школа является государственной, поэтому обучение в ней бесплатное.

Преподавание в школе ведется на английском, норвежском и русском языках, при этом знание английского языка поступающими является обязательным, а изучение норвежского языка российские студенты начинают «с нуля». Все норвежские студенты изучают русский язык на разных уровнях.

Содержание и организация учебного процесса

Обучение в Школе проходит в течение одного года. Организация учебного процесса строится на основе образовательной программы Школы и индивидуальных планов учащихcя. Учебные планы включают в себя блок предметов, позволяющих учащимся получить знания и умения, необходимые для сдачи выпускных экзаменов за курс старшей школы Норвегии (история, этика, предпринимательство, социальные и естественные науки, физическая культура). Российские учащиеся имеют возможность выбора из двух направлений: социально-экономического, где основной акцент делается на изучение английского языка в области социальных наук и основ предпринимательства, и физико-математического.

Промежуточная аттестация проводится в декабре в виде письменных тестов. Итоговая аттестация осуществляется в мае-июне в соответствии с требованиями норвежской системы образования. Выпускники Школы, успешно прошедшие итоговую аттестацию и получившие диплом об окончании норвежской средней школы старшей ступени, имеют право поступать в средние профессиональные и высшие учебные заведения Норвегии.

Успех Школы – это совместная деятельность её учащихся и преподавателей. С российской стороны в школе работают педагоги «Гимназии № 1», а также преподаватели ведущих областных вузов – МАГУ и МГТУ. Норвежские учителя представляют школу старшей ступени Конгсбаккен из города Тромсё. Такая совместная деятельность требует детального согласования учебных планов и программ, обмена учебными материалами и опытом.

В Школе большое внимание уделяется культурной жизни студентов. Осенью учащиеся выезжают на турбазу на Кольском полуострове, также для них организуется поездка в Тромсё, где студенты знакомятся со школой Конгсбаккен, Арктическим университетом Норвегии, музеями и другими достопримечательностями города. В начале весны традиционной является горнолыжная экскурсия в Кировск, в апреле студенты и преподаватели посещают культурную столицу России г. Санкт-Петербург.

Правила приёма российских учащихся

Прием документов (письменное заявление, резюме на русском и английском языках, фотография) проводится в электронном виде онлайн или в бумажном формате в канцелярии «Гимназии № 1» с 1 по 30 апреля с 9.00 до 16.00 ежедневно, кроме субботы и воскресенья.

Вступительный письменный экзамен по английскому языку и собеседование проводятся в мае. Данные испытания позволяют выявить уровень знания английского языка и уровень мотивации для обучения в Школе. Конкурсный отбор проходит в два этапа в один день.

Зачисление в Школу осуществляется по решению конкурсной комиссии, в состав которой входят члены Наблюдательного совета со стороны Норвегии и России, представители Министерства образования и науки Мурманской области, Комитета по образованию администрации г. Мурманска.

Конкурсная комиссия обладает правом утверждения списка кандидатов из числа абитуриентов, занявших 11-15 позиции в рейтинге отбора. Кандидаты могут быть зачислены в класс при условии письменного отказа от обучения абитуриента, успешного прошедшего вступительные испытания и зачисленного в Школу. При наличии вакантных мест прием может производиться дополнительно в сроки до 1 сентября.

Implementation of the project “The Norwegian Russian School in Murmansk”

We invite school-leavers and their parents!

The Norwegian-Russian School started its work in Gymnasium # 1 in Murmansk on September 1, 2008. The school was established to provide opportunities for 17-20-year-old youths of the Murmansk Region and the communes of Northern Norway to get command of the Russian and Norwegian languages, to acquire knowledge in the fields of culture, history, entrepreneurship. Special attention is paid to peculiarities of cooperation in the Barents region, development of mutual understanding, widening people’s contacts. The school was established as a division of additional education on the basis of the municipal institution of secondary education Gymnasium # 1 in Murmansk. This was done in accordance with “Agreement on joint activities aimed at implementation of the project “The Norwegian-Russian School in Murmansk”, signed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Murmansk Region, the Department of Education and Health of Tromsø Commune and the Department of Education of the Administration of Murmansk.

Studying at the Norwegian-Russian School presupposes:

— providing students with the best conditions for getting a certificate, confirming completion of the Norwegian upper secondary school (Videregående Skole),

— providing conditions for studying the Russian and Norwegian languages and other subjects which are necessary for passing exams to get a certificate.

The class is formed on a competitive basis from final year students of the Norwegian upper secondary school (10 people) and graduates of the Russian secondary (high) school (10 people: 5 boys and 5 girls) in accordance with “Provisions for admission to the Norwegian-Russian class”.

Applications for admission to the entrance exam are received annually in April, and the entrance written exam and the interview are held in May.

Decision about enrollment in the Norwegian-Russian class is made by the admissions commission, which consists of the members of the Supervisory Board of the project “Norwegian-Russian-School” from Norway and Russia, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Murmansk region, the Department of Education of the Administration of Murmansk. Students enrolled in the Norwegian-Russian class have to submit a written application with the consent of parents and a medical certificate (form №086 / y).

Contents and organization of the study process

The study process is organized in accordance with the curriculum of the Norwegian-Russian school and individual study plans of students. These study plans include subjects which enable Russian students to acquire knowledge and skills necessary for passing exams to complete the Norwegian upper secondary school (History, Ethics, Entrepreneurship, Social Sciences, and Physical Training).

A student can choose between two specializations: social and economic that focuses on social sciences and entrepreneurship, and physics and mathematics. Teaching is conducted in English and Norwegian. Intensive study of the Norwegian language is provided.

The study process presupposes different types of activities aimed at the students’ personal development (project work, self-study, artistic work, scientific research, and practical classes at the Arctic University of Norway – University of Tromsø) and the Kongsbakken Videregående Skole in Tromsø.

The Norwegian-Russian school is provided with necessary library and media resources, as well as access to the Internet.

Final exams are held in June in accordance with the demands of the Norwegian system of education. All graduates of the Norwegian-Russian School who have passed their final exams successfully get a certificate, confirming completion of the Norwegian upper secondary school (Videregående Skole), which enables them to enter secondary professional and higher educational institutions of Norway.

Since 2008 there have been 8 groups of students graduating from the Norwegian-Russian School. 50 Russian graduates studied or are currently studying Economics, Linguistics, Psychology, Law and Political Science in Norway at the Universities of Tromsø, Bergen and Oslo.

Provisions for admission to the Norwegian-Russian class

  1. General provisions

1.1. These provisions have been developed in accordance with Provisions for the Norwegian-Russian school.

1.2. The Norwegian-Russian class focuses on development of professional self-determination in the sphere of entrepreneurship.

1.3. The main goals and tasks of the class correspond to the goals and tasks set in the curriculum for the final study year of the Norwegian upper secondary school.

The Norwegian-Russian class presupposes:

— providing students with the best conditions for getting a certificate, confirming completion of the Norwegian upper secondary school (Videregående Skole),

— providing conditions for studying the Russian and Norwegian languages and other subjects which are necessary for passing exams to get a certificate,

— creating conditions for studying theoretical and practical basics of entrepreneurship.

1.4. The Norwegian-Russian class is opened 01.09.2008 in Gymnasium # 1 in Murmansk.

  1. Procedure for admission of students

2.1. The Norwegian-Russian class is formed on a competitive basis from final year students of the Norwegian upper secondary school (10 people) and graduates of the Russian secondary (high) school (10 people: 5 boys and 5 girls).

2.2. Young people who have submitted a written application and a resume with a photo to the admissions commission before April, 30 are allowed to take part in the competitive selection. The admissions commission is located in Gymnasium # 1 (Murmansk, Svyazi str., 30).

2.3. The competitive selection consists of a written test and an interview in Russian and in English, which aim at evaluating the entrants’ command of the English language and motivation for studying in the Norwegian-Russian School. The competitive selection is organized on one day in two stages. The entrants who have passed the test are invited for the interview.

2.4. Decision about enrollment in the Norwegian-Russian class is made by the admissions commission, which consists of the members of the Supervisory Board of the project “Norwegian-Russian-School” from Norway and Russia, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Murmansk region, the Department of Education of the Administration of Murmansk.

2.5. Students enrolled in the Norwegian-Russian class have to submit a written application with the consent of parents and a medical certificate (form №086/y).

2.6. The admissions commission is eligible to approve the list of candidates from the applicants who ranked 11-15 in the selection rating. Candidates can be enrolled to the Norwegian-Russian class before August, 15 on condition that an enrolled student provides a written refusal to study.

2.7. If there are vacancies, there may be additional enrollment within the period of September, 1-10.

3.7. All graduates of the Norwegian-Russian School who have passed their final exams successfully get a certificate, confirming completion of the Norwegian upper secondary school (Videregående Skole), which enables them to enter secondary professional and higher educational institutions of Norway.

Applications can be submitted to the Director’s Office in Gymnasium # 1 from 9 am till 4 pm daily (except Saturday and Sunday).

A resume explaining motivation for entering the Norwegian-Russian class and a photo should be attached to the application.
